Wall lights are mounted on the walls with proper light fittings as per the illumination required and can be used as indoor as well as outdoor lights. The various types used are traditional filament, energy saving, LEDs, and solar lights, to name a few. When it comes to contemporary lighting, LEDs are the most popular one. These can have single, dual or triple bulb holders. For bigger rooms with higher illumination requirement, wall lights with dual or triple bulb holder provision is apt. In general, these have translucent glass, crystal, ceramic, metal or fiber domes and shades to make the illumination mild on the eyes and curtail heat generation. The wall fixtures used for these are commonly referred to as sconces, which usually have the light pointed towards the ceiling.
